In American motorcycle history, there is the concept of the Big Three, the three most successful and largest motorcycle manufacturers in US history - Harley-Davidson, Indian and Excelsior-Henderson.

 

 

At the dawn of the motor industry in the 1920s, some of the fastest and most technically advanced motorcycles in the world competed on tracks, and this competition led to the fact that the company was forced to constantly update its lines.

 

Harley-Davidson, Indian and Excelsior-Henderson fell victims of a general economic collapse - after October 29, 1929, sales fell tens and hundreds of times.
