History of Blata Motorcycles

Some BLATA Motorcycle Manuals PDF are above the page - 125 Mottard, Origami, Blatino, Ultima.

Initially, engines were manufactured in Italy, but over time, Blata began to independently develop engines.

The company produces mainly light motorcycles weighing 30 kg with an engine capacity of 40 cm3. Most motorists in the world first learned about Blata when the company took part in the Moto Grand Prix competition.

For this event, a motorcycle with a V6 engine was specially designed, the volume of which was 990 cm3.

The Origami model became an advanced copy of the Blata brand. It got a name due to its fairing, which has an angular design and gives the impression of being made of paper.

An engine with a volume of 39.8 cm3 is installed on this model, which is the first Czech engine fully developed by the CAD-CAM computer technique.

Each year, Blata produces 15 thousand models and is preparing to open another plant. But the company’s plans also include the construction of a third plant to bring the annual production of motor vehicles of the Blata brand to 100 thousand.

The Czech motorcycle industry is famous for its rich history. Czech motorcycles took an active part in various competitions and motorcycle races.

This is enough to argue that motorcycles of this production are high-quality and reliable equipment.
