Motorcycles Big Bear Choppers - kastomy, produced in the US in small batches of the same name. In the line of their models more than enough extremely interesting iron horses, and it is not surprising that in a relatively short history of the company they have already a whole army of fans.
Big Bear Choppers began its history in 1998 - then the company was, in fact, a custom-atelier who made custom-made bikes. It turned out, apparently, very good for them, and already in 2001, handy Americans started small-scale production of their own models, assembled from parts and assemblies of third-party manufacturers.
The firm specializes in the production of orthodox choppers, not trying to fight monsters of the market like Harley-Davidson for the wallets of fans of classic cruisers, and bores its own narrow audience - lovers of long, radical, extreme choppers. Now in the Big Bear Choppers asset there are a few dozen models, many of which are produced or produced in several modifications, for example - a little more "classical" and a little more "radical".
Big Bear Choppers Reaper
This bike is the embodiment of the old school of chopper construction. Equipped with a 1.7-liter engine RevTech and 6-speed gearbox of the same manufacturer, it boasts 120 forces on the rear wheel, which are all transferred to it from the crankshaft by belt drive. Despite such outstanding characteristics, the motorcycle is quite simple in its design, there was not even a place for an injector in it - instead of it there is one carburetor Mikuni. Thanks to progressive shock absorbers this radical chopper is well managed, despite the extreme length and angle of inclination of the fork.
Big Bear Choppers Screamin Demon
This is no longer a chopper, it's a beaver, and it's equipped with an air-cooled engine, of course, with a volume of 111 cubic inches - about 1.8 liters. Screamin Demon is positioned by the manufacturer as one of the least expensive models, and a separate emphasis is placed on the fact that this bike is managed much better than most of its colleagues in the model line thanks to a short wheelbase. The five-speed gearbox of the famous manufacturer Baker, a real springer fork, one carburetor and belt drive - that's the bundle of this motorcycle. Nothing extra. The price of the new Screamin Demon in the US now is about forty thousand dollars.
However, in addition to choppers, Big Bear Choppers also have very unusual motorcycles, such as the model G.T.X.F.
This model is an attempt to get into the territory of Harley-Davidson, creating a motorcycle, suitable not only for evening pokatushek around the city, but also for travel. True, a high price (about 60 thousand dollars) discourages many - almost any Harley-Davidson in the US is worth less. But G.T.X.F. - in any case, very unusual motorcycle, a kind of hybrid chopper and cruiser.
